When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead.
It's difficult only for the others.
It is the same when you are stupid.

The difficult is what takes a little time

Every day is a new beginning.
Stay away from what might have been
and look at what can be.

Life is like an ocean of sand.
It will always slip through your fingers and always slip from you.
There will, however, be a small part that stays in the palm of your hand.
Be thankful for that.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin
or his background or his religion.
People learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love come more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.

Nelson Mandela: How do you inspire your team to do their best?

Francois Pienaar: By example. I've always thought to lead by example, sir.

Nelson Mandela: Well, that is right. That is exactly right. But how do we get them to be better then they think they CAN be? That is very difficult, I find. Inspiration, perhaps. How do we inspire ourselves to greatness when nothing less will do? How do we inspire everyone around us? I sometimes think it is by using the work of others.

There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.
